The Sulphur-crested Cockatoo emits loud harsh screams and squawks and imitates the calls of other animals.
Relationship with Humans[]
Sulphur-crested Cockatoos get along well with humans and other animals. However, dogs and cats will chase these large birds throughout their dwelling depending on its behaviour.
Popularity[]
Sulphur-crested Cockatoos are popular for their colours and mimic of speech, sounding almost like the person they are "teasing". A popular cockatoo on YouTube named Snowball dances and appears on Taco Bell and Pepsi commercials, talking about the item and concluding the video with a funny dance. Because of this, Sulphur-crested Cockatoos (and other similar forms of cockatoos) are popular amongst people.
