The Prairie Falcon is a North American falcon, found in Mexico and in south-western United States. It is a tipical prairie species. Slightly smaller than the Peregrine Falcon, the Prairie Falcon has brown upperparts and streaked, creamy.white underparts. Like other falcons, it feeds mainly on other birds, like pigeons, which are caught in air. It is very fast when diving.
