The Galah (Eolophus roseicapilla) is a species of Cockatoo native to Australia.
The Galah has a pale silver to mid-grey back, pale grey rump, a pink face and chest and a light pink mobile crest.The average weight is 270-350g (9.5-12.3 oz). The bird measures 35 (14 in) long.
Distribution EditThe Galah is distributed almost everywhere in Australia except the the very South west, North east, some of the North, a few places in the middle of Australia and East of Tasmania.
The Galah feeds on berries, nuts and seeds. It also seems to like fresh corn and the corners of toast crusts.

The Galah is evaluated as Least Concern on the IUCN Red list of Threatened species.
